Major Drought Conditions!

Major drought conditions in 32 states have put a burden on smaller hay inventories. Hay prices that have been historically low, now have skyrocketed to compete with record prices and world demand for corn and soybean products.

Farmers have plowed up hay acreages to replant with higher return crops. A new field of Timothy takes two years to maturity. Corn and soybean have a larger return in first planting. It's a no brainer!
